The faces do change slightly depending on the body you pick.
More than "slightly" - I tried to make my Trooper a rugged, manly-looking Asian dude, and found that the body size had a dramatic effect on his jawline. The tiny body shrank his jaw so much he looked like a preteen with a fake mustache, while the super-heroic body gave him a jaw so square his whole face turned rectangular.
