That may be an onion of wrong, there. Farming, what washouts do! Jedi, we decide your future for you, no matter what (but we're totally different from the Sith!). Washouts, wandering around the galaxy from farming world to farming world, ignored by the order...gotta hope they don't find any Sith artifacts or otherwise pursue their training since they're in the back of beyond and nobody's looking.
Also, what if someone wanted to be part of the agricultural corps because going about helping feed the galaxy is really satisfying to them?
